Michael Rosen new children's laureate

Michael Rosen has been chosen as the new British Children's Laureate
and it looks as if he will be a strong advocate for reading books for
pleasure. In one article in The
Guardian he says he utterly rejects and resents 'the notion that
you can teach reading without books'. He also poses the question: 'Have
educationalist taken all the fun out of poetry?' Read what Michael
Rosen has to say in The
Guardian.
